I’m a 52 year old man that has not been to the dentist in 30 years. Had deep cleaning done. I fell asleep during the process a couple times. I was amazed with everything! My mouth was sore but not no pain after.

I had previously taken a family member and was equally pleased and satisfied with the entire practice and their service for my family member. Now as a new patient, AV Dental Wellness Group has made quite an impression on me. I highly recommend this practice that has a very clean, welcoming, peaceful and professional atmosphere.

Everyone was helpful. X-rays done in a friendly matter. Insurances are all welcomed. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and recomends an instant treatment and care. Hes an amazing Dentist, you for being here for us.

Dr Kafri and Staff have been most efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. This has been my dental office since 1984 when it was opened by Dr. Bradford Boyd. My husband, who is a very picky Marine, also gives them high marks. The office is comfortable, clean and smells nice, not like a medicinal office. They are highly organized and competent in the paperwork. Highly recommend. Would not go elsewhere.

I was very pleased with the dentist and the staff. He answered my many questions with patience and compassion. They helped get me referred to UCLA for a complicated root canal under a crown. Next they will help me remove some decay and put a new crown on. I like how he is committed to keeping your teeth as long as you can and doesn’t tell you that you need more than you do like some Denti Cal providers do.

So far so good. I started working with them right before the pandemic. So we are starting over again. But they are very prompt and professional.

Excellent service. Front staff was very friendly and explained everything. The doctor and assistant made me feel cared for as they explained everything that would be happening. Both of my sons feel very comfortable and enjoy the staff and services here. I started to bring the rest of my family to get assessed and my mother was impressed of how detailed they are.

My daughter (10)and myself just had our 1st visit here. I can not thank the staff for being amazing! They were so friendly,polite,& comforting. I was a bit uncomfortable with not being able to be in the same room with my daughter but we were both being seem at the same time in a different room. This dental office is by far the best one I’ve ever been to. The appointment coordinator is always friendly, sweet and accommodating. The office manager is very respectful and kind and makes you feel heard and welcomed with her amazing energy. The doctor makes you feel important. He does not rush through anything. He will explain any procedures needed, possible alternatives to treatment and will answer any questions. He is the epitome of the perfect dentist. Not to mention how light handed he is. No procedure will be uncomfortable. He strives for every patient to have the best visit every time. Their hygienist is amazing! She is the most upbeat, positive and thorough hygienist I’ve ever encountered. Having a deep cleaning will never be something I dread. This may sound like a bit of an exaggeration but it is all true. So I’m someone who’s never been to the dentist before and was very nervous about going for my first time. I was mostly concerned about being judged more than what they would actually do to me teeth. When I called to make an appointment I had a good feeling because the receptionist who picked up was very patient and kind. On the day of my appointment everyone I met also followed the same pattern of being super friendly and never put me down for not going to the dentist. The staff is great but 75.00 for a same day cancellation is wrong they should verbally warn you and let the first one slide i will never miss appt even if im sick .staff is great i know there following the rules. I've been going to AV Dental Wellness Group's practice (formerly Dr. Boyd) for over 25 years. Although the staff has changed, the office still runs on the same premise as the previous office and staff. Friendly, courteous, efficient and caring. The staff knows you by name and treats you like part of the family. I'm very pleased with the new changes. I appreciate the updated contact methods utilizing texts and emails, where preferred. In doing so, they still haven't lost their sincerity towards patients, they just expanded the ability to book, confirm and change appointments. They are also very conscientious of your time. They do not over book, so your appointment starts on time, every time.

They had Multi-link cement used by holistic or biological dentists (those types of dentists can deal with your health whereas regular dentists cannot), so I went to them to get my crown re-cemented. It is still in there 24 hours later so yay. I called several dentists and they were the only ones to have this cement. The questionaire also asks about health issues, so maybe they know more than the average dentist. I didn't ask their certifications in thst regard.

I have been coming here for over 25 years. The staff has changed, but everyone is wonderful. They respect your time and don't overbook, so your appointment will be on time. They know you and your family personally and treat you as such.

I had an appointment today for a cleaning. The office staff was very nice but Neffer the RDH was the best ever.. She is an amazing hygienist ! I do not usually yelp but I was so pleased with how thorough she was and also very personable. Everyone is so nice here! I've been coming here since I was a child and recently my original dentist retired but the new dentist is just as kind and amazing! The staff is so sweet and accommodating as well. I always have a wonderful experience here! I had two fillings fixed today and they did both in under 30 minutes. So fast! Sandra was the dental assistant and she's the best. So sweet and made the experience so easy and comfortable!

My husband called in one morning for a toothache, they were able to squeeze him in the early afternoon. Tooth needed to be pulled and Dr Kafri made him feel very comfortable. Whole procedure took about 30 minutes. The entire staff was polite and communicated with us every step.

My 85 yr old mother was very pleased with Dr. Jenny. Mom received two caps and the procedures were painless. The rest of the staff is courteous and pleasant to deal with.

The doctor and assistant was totally awesome, very professsional and made my experience great. I give them 10 stars.

I've gone to bad and greedy dentists before but this place is AWESOME. Dr. Boyd retired, so it's been taken over by two brothers; Dr. Kafri. Very professional and caring staffs. They don't try to cheat the insurance or tell me to do unnecessary work to get money. They accommodated me for an emergency root canal. I've heard nightmare stories about it. My procedure was done in 30 minutes with no pain. I'm very impressed with both Dr. Kafris.
